Submission Guidelines
Call for Submissions
Human & Habitat invites submissions from students, researchers, and young writers around the world who are interested in exploring the connections between environment, place, and human health.

We Welcome:
Articles (300–600 words):
Essays examining environmental health, human–environment interactions, climate impacts, or place-based experiences.
Photo Essays:
5–10 high-quality images accompanied by a 300–600 word narrative exploring environmental conditions, communities, or lived experience.
Interviews:
Conversations with scientists, environmental advocates, public health professionals, or community leaders working at the intersection of environment and health.
Reflections & Interdisciplinary Work:
Personal, scientific, or cross-disciplinary pieces that connect environmental systems to human well-being.

Publication & Rights:
Accepted works will be published in the digital volumes of Human & Habitat, with selected pieces featured on EnviroHealthExplorer.
Authors retain full copyright to their work.

Review Process:
All submissions are reviewed by the Human & Habitat editorial team. Authors will receive a response within 4–6 weeks of submission.
